Zachary is a narrative journalist covering aging, sports and environmental issues. Since May of 2021, he has worked as a reporter for the IRP’s Aging in America Project, where he has covered climate change’s relationship to aging and the power of intergenerational relationships.

He’s covered sports for Oakland North and state election politics for CalMatters. Zachary has also reported audio stories and is currently working on multiple freelance projects.
