Wyatt Kroopf
Wyatt is a reporter and writer based in the Bay Area. He’s currently reporting for Oakland North as he pursues a Master’s degree at UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism.
He’s interested in exploring systems and institutions that perpetuate inequality and injustice through his reporting. In particular, he’s focusing on public education and the criminal justice system in the Bay Area and beyond.
Wyatt holds a B.A. from Oberlin College, where he majored in Africana Studies and Creative Writing. His writing has appeared in Wilder Voice and Muzzle Magazine.
