Victoria Dmitrieva
Originally from Moscow, Victoria is a short-form student at UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. She has covered stories in the US, the UK and Russia.
Victoria has produced content for media outlets from Moscow to the Bay Area, including The Moscow Times, BerkeleySide, and a student-run hyperlocal Richmond Confidential. At the J-school, she is committed to covering stories about marginalized and underrepresented communities and human rights violations around the world. Victoria covered stories on topics ranging from trash pickup and food insecurity in Berkeley homeless communities to protests against unsafe working conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
