Tarin Griggs
Tarin Alexandria Griggs (she/her), has spent over a decade working in community art spaces, nonprofit organizations and institutions of higher education. She began working with Berkeley Journalism in 2021 and has previously served as the Executive Assistant to the Dean and the Events Coordinator for both the Logan Symposium on Investigative Reporting and the California Local News Fellowship program.
Her background in project management and event planning has resulted in the successful execution of high profile events for large audiences. She has worked with Bay Area organizations like East Bay Dance Center, Counterpulse, East Bay College Fund (now known as Oakland Promise), and BANANAS. She is also a movement artist who creates experimental work in collaboration with local performance artists. In her free time, she enjoys seeing live theater, attending concerts, and exploring used bookstores.
