Tarin Alexandria Griggs (she/her), has spent over a decade working in community art spaces, nonprofit organizations, and institutions of higher education. She began working with Berkeley Journalism in 2021 and has previously served as the Executive Assistant to the Dean, Program and Office Coordinator, and the Events Coordinator for both the Logan Symposium on Investigative Reporting and the California Local News Fellowship program.

Her background in project management, communications, and event planning has resulted in the successful execution of high profile events for large audiences. She has worked with East Bay Dance Center, Counterpulse, East Bay College Fund (now known as Oakland Promise), BANANAS, the admissions department at Mills College, and the Arts in Education program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is also a movement artist who creates experimental work in collaboration with local performance artists.
