Rosa Amanda Tuirán Grobet is a documentary filmmaker, photographer and multimedia journalist from Mexico City with and immense passion for the ocean. She uses photography and journalism to explore not only nature, but also as a tool to reach out to people with the power of storytelling. Rosa Amanda received her B.A in International Relations from the Mexican university Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in 2016.

She has done extensive research on the Mexican government security policy towards drug trafficking and co-produced a weekly segment on American Politics for Milenio Televisión. She also worked as a News Video Fellow for BuzzFeed News in New York City.

Rosa Amanda is always seeking to work and investigate in stories relating to immigration, culture, religion, and environmental issues.
