Kori Suzuki

Kori Suzuki is a Japanese American reporter, audio producer and photographer. He was born and raised in the Bay and likes foggy mornings and cooking with the radio on. He is a recent graduate of Macalester College in Minnesota and a former intern with The Washington Post’s audio team.

His work focuses on climate change, race and equity. He is drawn to stories about how we are all complicated and multidimensional. His stories and images have appeared in The Washington Post, The Seattle Times and KQED.

He is the recipient of the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism 2022 Dorothea Lange Fellowship.
