Ciella is an aspiring documentary filmmaker with a background in print and radio news. She is a storyteller first and foremost, with a strong sense of curiosity and creativity. Her interests include alternative medicines, mental health and American subcultures.

She is currently studying documentary filmmaking at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism to hone her craft and better use video as a medium to tell stories that capture the universal human experience and cross political, cultural and economic barriers.
