Francisco Martínezcuello was born in Santo Domingo, República Dominicana and raised on Long Island, New York. He is an OIF/OEF veteran who changed careers to be a journalist. His narrative writing interests include veterans’ issues, science writing, environment & climate change reporting, as well as sports journalism.
