The most important thing to know about me is that I love exploring the universe and sharing what I learn about it.
I am a photojournalist, reporter/editor and multimedia journalist who hails from Arlington, Va. I gained the bulk of my experience on the East Coast covering sports, Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia, musicians and comedians and science and scientists, with stints at the Washington City Paper, USA Today, and the Falls Church News-Press. I have told stories at the American Psychological Association, American Association for the Advancement of Science, ESPNtheMag.com (before it was folded into ESPN Insider) and the New York Times Student Journalism Institute.
I want to create, learn, teach and help build a better world, one radically different from the world we live in today. I am interested in learning new artistic, organizational and administrative skills in order to increase my ability to add positive value to the communities with which I am engaged.
