Bonnie Eslinger
Bonnie Eslinger, MJOUR’98, is a senior reporter presently covering San Francisco’s courts for Law360 and has also worked for the LexisNexis online legal news publication in London and Los Angeles. She previously worked for daily newspapers, as a reporter for the Daily News/Bay Area News Group from 2010 to 2014 and as a reporter and then editor at the San Francisco Examiner, from 2004 to 2010. While at UC Berkeley, she worked as a stringer and an intern for the Modesto Bee/McClatchy and with a J-School classmate created and edited a women’s travel magazine that garnered a “Best New Title” nomination from Utne in 1999.
She lives in Northern California with her husband, travels, spends time with extended family and friends, runs a women’s writers group on Saturday mornings, supports local artists and independent businesses, and if she has spare time, she makes her way to the beach.
