Personal note on David Carr’s passing from Dean Edward Wasserman

David was a unique talent and a friend. Among journalists he had the rare ability to inspire both deep admiration and genuine affection. He gave the commencement address at the Berkeley J-School last year. He was glorious, and the students were rapturous.

I’m stunned. I miss him already.
