Carrie Ching ’05 Nominated for Emmy Award

Carrie Ching ’05 was nominated for a national Emmy Award for the
“graphic novel” documentary she directed and produced, “In Jennifer’s
Room,” with reporter Ryan Gabrielson and illustrator Marina Luz. The
feature was nominated in the category of New Approaches to News &
Documentary: Current News Coverage. Ching also received a national
award from the Society of Professional Journalists for “Suburban
Junkies,” which won Best Audio Slideshow.
