We are now accepting applications for our free multimedia and technology training workshops. These fellowships are geared toward mid-career journalists seeking to advance their skills in the new media realm. These are fully funded by John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.

For five years, Youth Movement Records in downtown Oakland has motivated young African Americans using the discipline that comes from attempting to perfect a craft.
Creative Growth sparked a movement in the 1970s for artists with disabilities. The Oakland-based center has blossomed into a studio and gallery with international reach that today remains focused on the craft while nurturing artists to create, connect and inspire.
