Serginho Roosblad
Serginho is a multimedia journalist with a focus on international reporting. He’s specialized African affairs, and with an emphasis on international and transitional justice, human rights, politics, conflict, violence and trauma and LGBTI rights.
His work has been published by Voice of America, RNW, One.org, AJ+, Fusion, Al Jazeera America, Global Citizen, Mission Local, Oakland North, Hoodline, The Africa Report, and Amnesty International.
He has reported from over a dozen African and European countries.
In 2012 he obtained an MPhil. in African Studies at the University of Cape Town.
Serginho is currently a class of ’18 Dean’s Merit Fellow.
