Robin Simmonds
Robin Simmonds is an international news reporter and video producer with a Master’s Degree in New Media Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley. During her time as a journalist in the United States, Spain and the United Kingdom she has worked as a reporter and producer in different outlets at a local, regional, national and international level. Some of these include KQED in California, Al Jazeera English in Washington, D.C. and AFP in London, UK. She is professionally proficient in Spanish, English and French and her interests lie in social justice issues and international relations. She is drawn to cover matters that affect the underserved populations of the world and to environmental issues such as water security and the effects of climate change in developing nations.
