Luisa Conlon
Luisa Conlon is a documentary filmmaker and journalist.
She recently returned from Jordan where she is producing a documentary on Syrian women’s response to the refugee crisis.
Her work as a producer has screened Sundance Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, the Venice International Film Festival. Her most recent documentary work has been published in The Atlantic, NPR, and the San Francisco Chronicle.
As a documentary student at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Luisa interned with acclaimed documentarians including Joe Berlinger and Sam Pollard. She has been shooting and directing short documentaries since graduating in 2011.
Luisa is currently living in California and works as a freelance documentary filmmaker and journalist. She is a native New Yorker, and a proud member of the Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective.
