James Tobias
Jimmy Tobias is a student at UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism. He is a former staff reporter for the Missoula Independent, Montana’s largest newsweekly. He covered environmental, civil liberties and labor issues for the paper. He has also served as a wilderness trails technician for the U.S. Forest Service and the Montana Conservation Corps. His work has appeared in The Nation (online), High Country News, the Missoula Independent, East Bay Express, Bay Nature, Nieman Watchdog, Alternet and The Indypendent.
