Chloe Lessard

Chloe Lessard is in her last year of the concurrent MPH/MJ program at the UC Berkeley School of Journalism and School of Public Health. These past few years, she’s reported on women’s health in Japan, Cuba, and the Bay Area, and written for various print and online publications including the Berkeley Science Review, The Davis Enterprise, and Oakland North. Her radio work has appeared on KALW, North Gate Radio, and the Center for Health Reporting website as part of the Ask Emily project. Her goal is to always report accurately and conscientiously on issues involving science, health, and medicine. Currently, she works as a data analyst/manager at the Center for Environmental Research and Children’s Health looking at the health impacts of pesticide exposure in young women. She’ll complete MPH thesis on chemical exposure and birth outcomes and final MJ project on environmental health.
