An investigative dive into the reality of the abortion landscape in Arizona and the greater Southwest.
We are living in a world where abortion regulations and access are more convoluted and disjointed by the day. In Arizona, those seeking abortions are already forced to undergo numerous discouraging regulatory steps in order to receive safe and legal medical care. The goal of my project is to outline the reality of resources in the ever confusing landscape of women's healthcare, including crisis pregnancy centers and abortion providers.

My short documentary is based on a familicide that took place in a city just outside of Detroit, Michigan. The wife was the lone survivor after all of her kids were murdered by her husband. She survived through victim blaming and all of her traumas in order to address her abuser in person before he’s sentenced to life in prison.

The face of divorce is aging. Since the 1990s, divorce rates in the US among people aged 65 and older have tripled. This film tells the story of so-called "gray divorce" through moments of grief, healing, and reinvention.
In 1980, the dictatorship of General Augusto Pinochet replaced Chile’s constitution with a new charter employing the principals of famed American Free-Market economist Milton Friedman. 40 years later the dictatorship is gone, but the constitution, and a key provision called the National Water Code that privatized Chile’s vast natural water supply, is still in effect. Following an uprising in 2019 that drew millions of protestors across the country, and against the background of a 15 year drought that has left over half of the country in an official water emergency, a popularly elected body has been tasked with rewriting the constitution from scratch. With only a year to draw up the document, they must attempt to rectify the consequences of the lingering dictatorship policies and the devastating Water Code in their new draft. "Hasta la última gota" follows the fight of those working to change the system that birthed "The Chilean Miracle" as it's called, and the commercial effort to keep the status quo in place.
