Chelsi Moy
For the past eight years, Chelsi has worked as a reporter at several of the largest newspapers in Montana covering everything from crime and the judicial system to education and statewide politics.
Chelsi is a Montana native and graduated from the University of Montana in 2004 with a double major in political science and journalism. Twice Chelsi served as a capitol bureau correspondent covering the 2005 and 2007 state legislative sessions. Chelsi has won several state, regional and national journalism awards, including first place for feature writing in the 2009 National Awards for Education Writing.
At UC Berkeley, Chelsi is interested in studying investigative journalism in both writing and multimedia platforms. When she is not in front of a computer, she is outside alpine skiing, trail running or fly fishing.
