Yue Li

Yue Li (Mia) is a documentary filmmaker and visual journalist from Urumqi, China, now she is a first-year student of UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, and also a reporter based in San Francisco Bay Area, focusing on culture reporting and visual journalism.

Her former work included a variety of topics, from China’s abandoned city, forgotten history, subculture individuals to America’s social justice and inequality.

She is a graduate of the Communication University of China, where she focused on television production, film, theater, and arts.
