Julie Chang
I’m a multimedia journalist and passionate English teacher based in Berkeley, CA.
My primary goal is to help create a more informed citizenry by producing audio and video documentaries that tackle big topics and make them accessible to a wide audience.
Present research interests include transgenerational trauma in Koreans and Korean Americans, crime and incarceration in South Korea, postmodernism in literature, and the relationship between diaspora and identity.
In my spare time, I like to stay active whether I’m building strength by doing hot yoga or exercising my mind by reading a New York Times best seller.
