Talia Mindich
Talia Mindich is a journalist who produces, films, and edits short-form documentaries. She also specializes in written narratives.
She has reported on a vast range of topics, including the barriers to licensure for foreign-trained doctors, the changing taste of strawberries in outer space, and an overlooked treatment to chronic vulvar pain. Her stories have been published in Washingtonian, PBS NewsHour, The Hill, and The Burlington Free Press. She currently works part-time as a production assistant on the documentary team at Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting.
At UC Berkeley, she is the recipient of a Dean’s Merit Fellowship and an Overseas Press Club Foundation Scholar Award.
Previously, Talia worked as a Background Investigator on Capitol Hill for the Department of Defense and served for two years in the Peace Corps at an Islamic boarding school in West Java, Indonesia.
Talia earned her BA in English Literature from Kenyon College, and grew up in Burlington, Vermont.
