Sam Sabin
Sam Sabin is a cybersecurity reporter at Axios, focused on digital security threats to U.S. critical infrastructure, national security policy and Silicon Valley’s AI advancements. She also authors the outlet’s weekly Future of Cybersecurity newsletter, which is read by a mix of high-level government officials, executives, investors and other professionals trying to understand the complex security landscape.
Her work has taken her to the hallways of Congress and the White House, inside the security operations at Fortune 500 companies and to keynote stages at major conferences across the country. Previously, Sam reported on cybersecurity at Politico, tech policy issues at polling firm Morning Consult and local startup news at DC Inno, an American City Business Journals’ publication.
She has a bachelor’s degree from UNC-Chapel Hill’s School of Media and Journalism, and she’s worked for several N.C. publications, including The Charlotte Observer.
