Ryan Phillips
Ryan Phillips is a second-year student at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, studying investigative reporting and multimedia. Ryan grew up in Berkeley, attended Berkeley High and graduated from UC Santa Cruz. He worked for the Santa Cruz Sentinel newspaper for four years as a reporter, page designer and editor. In 2008, Ryan moved to New York City to spend the year leading volunteer groups in construction projects for Habitat for Humanity.
