Rachel Waldholz covers business, economics and city life for Richmond Confidential. Her work has appeared in the Denver Post and Salt Lake Tribune, and on Grist.org. Before moving to the Bay Area, she wrote on energy, environment and land use for Colorado’s High Country News, and helped launch the Tremont Tribune, a hyperlocal community newspaper in the Bronx. She spent two years working on trail crews for the National Park Service in Texas and California.
