Nausheen Husain
Nausheen (pronounced no’-sheen) is a multimedia journalist and web producer.
Nausheen graduated from UC Berkeley’s j-school in May 2014 with a Master’s degree in digital media. Her Master’s project, www.islamforreporters.com, tracks data on anti-Muslim hate crimes in the U.S. She is currently a web producer at the Chicago Tribune.
A 2011 graduate of New York University, she studied journalism at the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute, as well as Middle Eastern studies. She is interested in news apps, web design, technology, the American Muslim community and humor.
