Tianxiao Han
Michael Han is a filmmaker and multimedia storyteller with experience spanning documentary production, journalism, and community-centered media. He earned his B.A. in Film & Media Studies with a minor in Journalism from UC Berkeley, where he developed both technical expertise and a passion for storytelling.
Michael has worked with AAPI Data as a communications intern, producing rapid-turnaround documentaries and social media shorts that translated complex research into engaging visual narratives. As a contractor with Community R&D, he directed and edited a video series highlighting staff and interns, filming across Berkeley and Oakland Chinatown while managing the full production cycle from planning through post-production.
Currently pursuing a Master of Journalism at UC Berkeley, Michael focuses on documentary production and reporting, blending visual craft with a commitment to stories that inform, engage, and empower communities.
