Mallory Pickett

Before coming to UC Berkeley, Mallory was a chemist, studying climate change and ocean acidification at UC San Diego and Scripps Institution of Oceanography. She began writing freelance science stories as a fun break from her work in the lab, but had so much fun that in 2014 she decided to leave the lab forever. Since then she has contributed to Wired, Pacific Standard, KQED Science, and Bay Nature News.
