Liz Lufkin
Liz Lufkin, BA Journalism ’78, is a digital media executive and consultant with extensive product development and business experience. She has held senior editorial roles at regional, national, and global scale media companies, including deputy managing editor at the San Francisco Chronicle and USAToday.com. As vice president for the Yahoo homepage, she and her team drove an unprecedented increase in traffic and video streams, and pioneered Yahoo’s successful personalization efforts. She also has extensive start up experience, including Smart News and Rally.
She holds degrees in Rhetoric and Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley, and has served on the board of the Online News Association.
