Kristine Wong is a freelance multimedia journalist and editor who reports on energy, the environment, sustainable business and food. Her work has been featured in The Guardian, The Huffington Post, KQED, GreenBiz, The San Francisco Public Press and other publications.

She is a former managing editor of GreenBiz, a leading daily sustainable business news site, as well as the founding editor of Half Moon Bay Patch, a regional daily news site covering the city of Half Moon Bay and the unincorporated San Mateo County coast in California. While a student at Berkeley J-School, she was a founding member of the hyperlocal website Oakland North and on the first editorial team that launched its sister site Richmond Confidential.

Prior to becoming a journalist, she worked for over 10 years in environmental and public health organizations and specialized in the areas of toxics/environmental justice, natural resources and community-based public health.

Her interests include environmental, cultural, agricultural and public health reporting.
