Julian Glover is an award winning multi-platform reporter and anchor.  He currently serves as Race, Culture, and Social Justice reporter for ABC7 News Bay Area. Julian’s recent reporting on discrimination in the home appraisal process and devaluation of Black neighborhoods has prompted action by the Biden-Harris administration and Congress to address longstanding inequities. His reporting has earned 2022 Emmy and Edward R. Murrow awards for excellence in reporting on topics of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Julian joins us from Syracuse University where he taught a variety of courses in Newhouse’s virtual graduate program. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Miami and Master of Science in Communications from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse with a specialization in journalism innovation. Julian is originally from Washington, D.C. and has worked in newsrooms in Miami; Fort Myers, FL; Louisville, KY; and Cleveland.
