Erin Copp

Administrative Assistant to the Dean's Office

Erin Copp is a recent alumni of KALW’s audio academy where she covered the Bay Area’s vast drag community, abortion rights, and how institutional racism impacts neighborhoods in the Bay. She is an alumni of UC Santa Cruz where she received a BA in Feminist Studies and San Jose State where she received a Master’s in Music. Her graduate thesis explored how gender expectations, white supremacy and racism inform K-12 education practices generally and music pedagogy specifically. As a lover of all things audio, Erin plays in as many Oakland-based bands as is humanly possible.
