Calliope Arkilic (pronounced kuh-lye-oh-pea ark-lidge) is a science journalist and communicator on the narrative track.

Before coming to journalism school, Calliope worked at an entomology (insects) lab at UC Berkeley where she spent countless hours looking at insects in orchards all across California’s Central Valley.

Calliope is passionate about making science accessible and interesting.
