Annie is a student, writer and reporter based in Oakland. She will complete her MJ from the UC Berkeley School of Journalism in spring 2020.

Annie graduated from Smith College in 2015 with a B.A. in American studies. After graduating, she spent two years as a communications & social media manager at nonprofits in Los Angeles and Anchorage. She is passionate about pursuing stories of social significance and lifting up underrepresented voices, especially in the areas of (im)migration, gender equality, homelessness and criminal justice.
