A panel discussion was held on October 17, 2007 to celebrate Greater Good’s Fall 2007 issue on “The 21st Century Family.” The panel featured family experts discussing how the American family is changing, and how it can still thrive during this period of transition. The panel featured noted family historian Stephanie Coontz, UC Berkeley psychologists Philip and Carolyn Cowan, and internationally known author and therapist Joshua Coleman. It was moderated by Greater Good’s managing editor, Jeremy Adam Smith.
