Professional Seminar: Orlando Bagwell

Orlando Bagwell will discuss the future of the documentary program at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism and, generally, what students need to know today to successfully practice the documentary film craft.

This presentation is open to the general public, including students, staff and alumni of the J-School, and will be followed by a Q&A session.

Orlando Bagwell is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and former program officer for the Ford Foundation’s Media Arts and Culture unit. He is currently based in New York and owns his own production company, LakeHouse Films.
