Dan Sturman, of Stanley Pictures, will discuss the future of the documentary program at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism and, generally, what students need to know today to successfully practice the documentary film craft.

This presentation is open to the general public, including students, staff and alumni of the J-School, and will be followed by a Q&A session.

Mr. Sturman is a writer/producer/director of Oscar, Emmy, and Peabody Award-winning documentaries and a former ABC News investigative journalist with a passion for telling compelling stories that make a difference.
