Generation Debt: The New Economics of Being Young

Robert Shireman, director of the Project on Student Debt, will moderate a discussion with journalist Anya Kamenetz about the new and dangerous economic reality created by student loans, credit card debt, lower earnings, jobs without benefits, the national debt, and uncertain retirement security.

Kamenetz has written for The New York Times, The Washington Post, New York Magazine, Salon, Slate, The Nation, and the Village Voice . In 2004, the Voice nominated her for a Pulitzer Prize in feature writing for her work on the series Ì¢‰âÒGeneration Debt: The New Economics of Being Young.Ì¢‰âÂå
