Early Signs: Report from a Warming Planet

In recent years, evidence has been emerging from various parts of the globe that climate change is not only real, it is beginning to have significant political, economic and human impact.

Eleven journalists from U.C. Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism
set out to find those stories from around the world as part of an extensive year-long project that has been airing weekly on Living on Earth and Salon.com.

Please join us to hear about global warming impacts in such far-flung spots as Bangladesh, New Zealand, Manitoba, Kiribati, Ecuador and Tanzania through an informal talk and a multimedia presentation.

Also joining us will be Joan Walsh, Jeanne Carstensen, and Kevin Berger of Salon, as well as radio producer Sandy Tolan and John Harte of U.C. Berkeley’s Energy and Resources group.

Hope to see you there!
