The UC Berkeley Bloomberg Business Reporting Program is hosting a discussion on careers in business journalism.

Editors from top local business publications will be on hand discussing the skills essentials to becoming a good business reporter and how students can prepare to enter a field of journalism that continues to grow.

The panelists will also talk about how business journalism has changed during the post-Enron era.

Dave Callaway the editor in chief at Marketwatch.com
Owen Thomas the chief of reporters at Business 2.0 Magazine
Mark Stafforini the business editor at the Oakland Tribune

The discussion will take place on Monday, Oct. 16, from noon to 1 p.m. in the library
