Belva Davis | Retired KQED Anchor and author of My Wildest Dreams: A Black Woman's Life in Journalism

 

Award-winning journalist Belva Davis, retired last November after fifty years working as a journalist in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has anchored news programs at KPIX-TV, KQED Public Television 9 and KRON-TV. She was the host of This Week in Northern California for more than 19 years.

Belva Davis was named one of the top 100 journalists of the last century by Unity, the national organization representing minority journalists.
