Archival Film Storytelling Panel Discussion

Kenn Rabin and Sheila Curran Bernard have invited industry leaders to join them for discussions that will inform their book-in-progress, Archival Storytelling, to be published by Focal Press in 2008. Archival Storytelling will be an essential guide to one of the most vexing issues facing documentary filmmakers today: finding, using, and licensing third-party images and music. These discussions are free and open to the public on a first-come, first-admitted basis. No RSVP is needed.

PANELISTS:

Claire Aguilar, Vice President of Programming, ITVS

Jon Else, UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism

Stanley Nelson, Firelight Media

Bill Nichols, San Francisco State University

Rick Prelinger, Prelinger Archives
