J601 Administrative Units

These are administrative research units (sometimes referred to as ghost units). Any student can register for up to 4 units in J601 to dedicate their time toward working on their master’s project. You can take additional units with approval from your master’s advisor.

J601 units cannot be counted toward the degree, so you will need 36 units of coursework to graduate.
