J298 Opinion Writing

This is primarily a writing class. It might be called “Opinion Writing,” but it is really the art of making a quick argument in essay form. One goal will be to have each participant write a polished, convincing 1,000-word essay that really sings. Another goal might be to publish that piece somewhere.
