J285 Longform Video Reporting and Storytelling (for second year students)
Students taking this production seminar intend to produce work that comprises their Journalism thesis project in television reporting or video storytelling and/or producing. The primary emphasis is the production of thoroughly reported stories of the highest possible editorial and technical quality. There is an intense focus on story premise and reporting and writing style. Advanced fluency in videography, AVID editing and directing and producing in the field are a major part of our goals.

Restrictions & Prerequisites
J-School students only.
Successful completion of J282 and J283, proficiency in AVID editing and SONY DV cam, and permission of instructors.
Class enrollment will be by waitlist only, priority will be given to students who selected TV/Doc as their first course preference.
