J255 Journalism Ethics in the Field

This class is being team-taught by the faculty at Berkeley Journalism. Our goal is to enable you to practice journalism ethically in the field. We will draw on our own deep experience in journalism to engage you in understanding the ethical dilemmas practicing journalists face and probe deeply how to handle these issues. We will examine the critical issues being raised by journalists today from questioning the concept the objectivity to challenging who can cover a story accurately.

This class is seven weeks long on the following dates:
