J219 MINI: Sound Design (10/10 – 11/14)

This is a course to teach students sound design concepts in the context of radio, audio, and podcast journalism. It does not pertain to sound mixing in filmmaking, although some concepts may extend to that area. Students in the class will learn editing techniques, sound mixing, understanding the role of ambient, effects sounds, music, and tone.

Starts October 10 and goes for seven weeks until November 14.
