J219 MINI: Politics (Starts 2/5)

This course may align with the 2024 Presidential Primaries. Lessons may include techniques for reporting and writing political stories in a fair and honest way that would educate the public on important issues, how to conduct interviews with politicians that may turn adversarial, how to cultivate sources that provide exclusive information on stories, and strategies for gaining knowledge quickly on emerging issues. This class will have students report at least one political story by the end of the term.
