J219 MINI: Crafting a One-Interview Story (Starts 1/16)

So many of the building blocks of being an effective radio producer come out of the ability to sit down with a single subject and get a compelling story out of them. It is foundational to everything from daily news reporting to long-form narrative. That’s what we’ll focus on in this course: the skill set involved in creating a piece out of one great interview. Students will build on their interviewing skills, effective tape selection, story structuring, and writing in their unique voice.

This class will meet from 1/16/2024 – 3/4/2024.
